Estimate from the application
List the services that will run together. Measure their normal and peak resident memory in a representative environment, then leave room for the operating system, updates and traffic bursts. Watch swapping and out-of-memory events during testing.
Review the full plan
RAM alone does not define capacity. CPU limits, storage speed, network allowance and backup arrangements can become the next constraint. Compare actual plan specifications and monitor usage after launch before resizing.
